Providers
Providers are the agent CLIs Nexus dispatches runs to. Two are available today; more are on the way, chosen per run.

Providers that aren’t available yet show as dimmed chips in the launcher. You can see what’s coming without being able to select it.
Per-run choice
Provider is a per-run decision, not a per-project setting. The same repo can run Claude Code on one task and Copilot on the next — pick the right agent for each job at dispatch time.
Authentication & PATH
- Authentication comes from each agent’s own machine-level CLI config — Nexus does not store provider credentials separately.
- The resolved PATH is merged into every session, so agents launch with the environment they expect.
CLAUDE_CODE_GIT_BASH_PATHis honored so Claude Code’s Git Bash dependency resolves correctly on Windows.
